5 x stars I've been here for about 4 or 5 years and the staff is absolutely amazing so friendly, so friendly... It is a beautiful place to dine and the food and service is always fast... Very good for the beautiful authentic Japanese dishes you get... So YUM .. If you are in Takapuna... Definitely on the list of fantastic small boutique restaurants you need to try it... Lol now I am hungry for her Yum Yum Prawns and some of her Soft Shell Crabs with this super yum mayo on the side... Well done team... Well-made management and owner....

Been here a few times and always impressed with the food and service. All the staff are friendly especially Mikki. Good place to have family dinner with children or for business lunch/dinner. Highly recommended, will definitely come back again.

Cool atmosphere and authentic Japanese izakaya style. Seatings was nice, great staff. Food was excellent. Highly recommend.

First time visiting this place and was very impressed with the food, service and most importantly the atmosphere. I came here with a group of mates and we got a platter of different items of the extensive menu and it was delicious. the staff at the restaurant were so welcoming and kind to us and each table comes with a bell to ask for help which is much better than the embarrassing hand up type calling. When ordering you have a paper and write down the food you want making it very simple and quick. The main thing though is the atmosphere that makes you feel like you are really in Japan. Overall would highly recommend this place for a good feast.
