We bought the $28 plate, spring rolls and chips. It was delicious, we will definitely be back. The plate was the size (and cost) of ~2.5 x dishes, so we get the larger version next time View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Ranui Chinese Takeaway:
I worked in a takeaway and I know that dry dark batter on deep fried food is usually that the oil used in the fryers either too hot or is old. $2 gets you a handful of hard dry chips, food is kept in a warmer on the counter not sure how long for. Id go back. View all feedback.
I believe my fish and chips were cooked in fresh oil and were very well prepared.
We ordered the $28 plate along with spring rolls and chips. Everything was absolutely delicious, and we will definitely return. The plate was about the size of 2.5 regular dishes, so we'll opt for the larger version next time!
As a visitor from outside Auckland, I ordered some fish and chips, and I must say, it's some of the best I've ever had!
Our go to fish n chip shop yummy sweet n sour pork BBQ pork fried rice fish burgers and won ton soup they even put Chilli oil in for me and nuce portion of wonton well worth it
