Ordered red curry beef, pad thai chicken and chicken satay for take away. All dishes were tasty and good portion. The curry came with a portion of rice which was good. Their English is not very good, which made it a bit hard to order over the phone as I had to repeat my order a few time. Otherwise I would definitely go back next time I feel like a quick pad Thai! What Maree Brogden doesn't like about Papaya Thai Kitchen:
Recently opened, this is primarily a takeout kitchen, with casual seating for those who may wish to eat-in. Well priced Thai takeaways, efficient service, carafe of water provided while you wait. Recommendation: it is for those wanting traditional Thai food for “a quick meal or snack on the go”! View all feedback.
Friendly local thai takeaway. Been coming here for a few years and the food is always consistently good. Can recommend the poon poon fried rice and the massaman. The papaya salad is great too. Prices are good for the flavour and portion.
Pretty good thai food, we ordered takeaway for Tom yum fried rice, Tom yum soup and chicken satay and the order was ready in 15mins. Will definitely order again.
Delicious Laksa, Tom yum fried rice, deep fried tofu and spring rolls. The perfect feed to be washed down with a cold beer. Yummy large portions that everyone will enjoy
We first visited Papaya a while back but remembered the experience fondly so decided to pick up some take aways from there this evening. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, and although the place is small the personal touches make it just perfect. I found a vintage Pac-Man book to peruse while we waited for our food. Note the little collection of vintage toys on display too! We ordered the spring rolls, massamun chicken curry and garlic and pepper chicken. The food was amazing, like stupid good. Their spring rolls are home made and a great size- a step up from the tiny bite size ones often on offer. Stuffed with rice noodles, mushrooms and veges and served with a delicious sauce. The chicken in the massamun was so tender it was falling apart. The curry was a gorgeous balance of sweet and sour. The garlic pepper chicken was so fresh and flavourful with a great selection of veges. Honestly, one of the best Thai meals we’ve had in a long time and so reasonably priced. Well done guys! We will be regulars!
I recommend the pad Thai, tom yum soup and the poon poon fried rice!! It tastes super authentic and is very flavourful. The staff are very friendly and welcoming.
