My favorite spot for Indian vegetarian food in the heart of the city. The food is delicious and very affordable, with the mini-thali priced at just $9.50. They have an extensive selection of tasty sweets (mithaiwala translates to sweet seller). The staff is warm and friendly, making the experience even better. View all feedback.

I visited the restaurant over the weekend for lunch. The Chole-Bhatura was decent. However, the vada pav tasted a bit frozen and somewhat lacking in flavor, although it was served with good chutneys. This update reflects my experience since my previous review on April 10, 2022. View all feedback.
The food is very good and the prices are fair, it’s a pleasure to find good spots like that, we’ll be back! Just be careful it was very spicy!
Very filling, simple, and delicious. They have a vegan cashew dessert as well.
Went for lunch on a weekday. The chole bhatura which was decent. The vada pav tasted like cooked from frozen and a little underdone, but came with good chutneys. Updated from previous review on 2022-04-10
We shared the large Thali. Had a lentil Dahl, chana masala, potato and cauliflower curry. All were nice and spicy. It came with loads of naan bread and rice. Was very well priced at $13.99. It's a not frills restaurant, quick service. Good for the price. I did not ask about all the sweets or what else was vegan on the menu.
My favourite on the go Indian vegetarian place in the central city. Yummy food at a very affordable price. Only $9.50 for the mini thali. Great selection of delicious sweets (Mithaiwala means sweet seller). Warm friendly staff.
