Went to Imperial Lane in Fort Lane and it seems it has become a new home for Hello2 (extension of Hello Restaurant on the opposite side in Snickles Lane).<br/ <... read more Went to Imperial Lane in Fort Lane and it seems it has become a new home for Hello2 (extension of Hello Restaurant on the opposite side in Snickles Lane).<br/ <br/ They have great coffee, and a range of sweet/savoury items that look quick and easy to eat.<br/ <br/ I ordered the bacon and cheese bap and it is served warm and great for a quick lunch. The tables are set up on the side and are cute and cosy.<br/ <br/ Service is very friendly and welcoming! I will be back to try out their delicious looking cabinet food.

I was pleasantly surprised... read more This was our second visit to Hello and I was worried that it may not live up to the high expectations set by our previous experience. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I still love this hidden gem. Even though I am not typically a fan of pasta, I thoroughly enjoyed the delicious and creamy pasta dishes I tried here. My husband raved about the Angus burger, claiming it was the best he's had in New Zealand. The evening atmosphere is charming and feels secluded from downtown Auckland, making it ideal for a date night. The prices are reasonable considering the quality of the food and location. We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend Hello to others.

Only criticism would be a bit more description on their menu I had the steak sandwich which came on cheesy toasted ciabatta. That wasn't on the description and it was amazing... even more of a selling point to mention it. As a pregnant woman it's also difficult to find food choices (lots of restrictions) so the only other thing I'd add is flexibility to swap things out ie I asked for steak well done and was told initially it was just how it came but I explained I had to have it well cooked for health reasons and that was ok. Ideally you should just accommodate that kind of request straight away no questions. All in all great though and would definitely go again.
