Had a very nice time here, the location is great, the ambience staff and vibe fit so well. We ordered a variety of foods to meet our needs and it was perfectly executed, the portions were satisfied and the food was absolutely delicious. 11/10 would recommend, in any case again for seconds View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Devon On The Wharf:
Disappointed. The food was blah, the waitress with the glasses was very immature and poorly trained, from slamming dishes, to snatching trays, leaving dirty dishes made available for her to take away. The food was a major let down with runny eggs, coupled with a handful of fruit, chilled bread and my husbands bread was grilled. I visited this restaurant for a birthday dinner with friends and had a great experience. We ordered the curly fries, fattoush pan-roasted chicken salad, Bodrum sizzler steak, yuzu tonic, Tropidelic, grapefruit spritz, and hot almond milk. The Tropidelic was impressive—a large portion, almost the size of a small bowl, which makes it well worth it if you're a fan of cocktails. The curly fries were incredibly crispy and were complemented by tomato sauce and aioli. The salad featured a tangy vinegar dressing, making it the perfect refreshing bite to enjoy alongside the fries.
We had breakfast in Saturday morning, the food is average, but the service and dining atmosphere of Devon on the wharf are awesome! Would like to visit again.
Absolutely amazing food. Had the fried calamari for a starter and it was one of the best I ever had. My main was the kebab, but the dessert now that was absolutely mind blowing. 11/10 for the chocolate fondant. Definetly will be coming back
Whether you dig into “delicious” Kiwi fare while enjoying the “absolutely dreamy” views from the Port“romantic” porches, with “palms swaying above and the iridescence of the waves rolling in”, or devour your “terrific” breakfast buffet, the experience “couldn't be more wonderful”both boast photos of the legendary namesake surfer and “aloha”-spirited service.
Lovely location, vibrant ambience, friendly staff and decent food. My partner and I spent a great afternoon at Devon on the wharf and we'd visit again.
