Great value food that is both filling and delicious. opened during alarm level 3. Portion sizes are very generous, which is fantastic when you are a ravenous food like me. Let you feel happy after a long day. I wish the vegan options were clearly marked on the menu, especially for those who are not familiar with Thai food. I had to ask the girl for advice, but she was very nice and recommended some dishes for me. 5/5 View all feedback.
Always enjoy coming through to this restaurant! Great meal selection with good choice of meats for each dish. All the food I've had from here tastes fantastic while being great for a student budget (meals for me have averaged between $15 $17 depending on dish and meat choices . The meals are also quite filling : Service is also fantastic as you pay for your order up front and then they get it to your table pretty quickly. Would definitely recommend checking out if you like this type of food I know I'll be back again!
The food was worth the price. The Sukiyaki Soup has a sour and spice taste, it took me a long time to eat though. There was a fair amount of ingredients and the soup was hot (temperature) so I had to keep blowing on the noodles
This is my first visit to Chom Na restaurant. As a Thai who have been traveling and trying tons of Thai restaurants in different parts of the world, I cannot help myself but to rate them five stars. This is my first time ever to review Thai restaurants outside Thailand. I can just truly say that what the three dishes I have ordered tasted like home. I ordered 'Pad Kra Prao ' (Pork Stir-fried with holy basil), 'Larb Moo ' (Spicy Minced Pork Salad), and 'Pad Prik Khing ' (Pork Stir-fried with sweet chilli paste and long beans). Regardless of vegetable component (as I understand they have to use some available and alternative ones), the taste is truly authentic. I requested that all the dishes to be extra spicy, and they were all perfectly seasoned. Well done chef!
I have always walked past this place and finally tried it out. After going down the stairs, it leads you to a large dining area. The counter up front has the menu plastered on the walls and there are so many things to try. After much deliberation, I decided to try the Pad Pong Garee Beef, stir fried beef and veges in curry and egg. I ordered and grabbed a table in the large dining area. The flavours were really nice and the portions were decent. This is definitely a place I would return time and again if I was in the area. Edit: Pad See Ew had a nice sauce. The curry noodles tasted like Thai curry with noodles.
For pre-cinema dining, we tried Chom Na Thai Food in Lorne St. Staff was warm and friendly and there was lots of options to choose from all with photos. We ordered a Tom Yum Gai soup, Khao Pad Gai and Larb Gai, all Thai hot. My chicken fried rice was sensational in flavour and texture, exactly how I like it and soup was wonderful. Food delivery was prompt and it was a pleasant casual dining experience!
