One of the most unique bars I was. There is no set menu, only custom drinks based on some questions you ask. What Hilka doesn't like about Caretaker:
Really nice hidden bar with individual drinks. Unfortunately mine was quite strong even though I asked for a mild one. Quite pricey for a not so nice drink. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 View all feedback.
I couldn't make a reservation, and when I arrived, there was no available seating. I ended up going to a different place.
This is a charming hidden bar with a unique selection of drinks. Unfortunately, mine turned out to be quite strong, despite my request for a milder option. The drink was on the pricey side for something I didn’t find enjoyable. Overall, the service and atmosphere both deserve a 5 out of 5.
One of the most unique and creative places to enjoy a drink in Auckland! Huge thanks to Thomas, who took care of us—his professionalism and relaxed demeanor really stood out. I definitely plan to return!
What's not to like? Sunken room, no drinks menu and a eclectic mix of decor. Staff are excellent and manage to bring you a drink based on the interview they conduct of your tastes. Worth a visit Price per person: NZ$40–50 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Such a cool place! Difficult to find if you don't know what you're looking for as its a bit hidden. Awesome drinks, customized to what you want as they don't have a menu. Great vibes too. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
