The second time, we go to a Japanese restaurant this time with our 12-year-old and 17-year-old children who are regaled like us. Very nice restaurant, helpful and quick staff. the sushi are made in front of us with a very good quality fish my husband and my children are regaled. For me, I took noodles jumped for the beef a real pleasure, I even managed to take advantage of it in the evening because the waitress put the remains in a box given the impossible amount to finish everything. it is beautiful to see, delicious in the mouth and extra generous in quantity. I strongly recommend this restaurant that we intend to make my parents discover.
We've not had sushi since we've moved to France. In fact, we haven't eaten out that much. Having chosen to move to the heart of the chief fois gras producing région was not the smartest move for a family of meat shunners. So, let's say from the outset, we set our expectations very low. I should have taken a before and after photo of our faces because we LOVED our meal and we left with huge smiles on our faces. What was so great? Well, we got a warm welcome for starters and we liked the look of the restaurant which was authentic, spotless and a bit funky. And it had air conditioning! The menu is easy to navigate and very comprehensive. And, referring back to my non eating meat point, full of fish and I think I saw tofu too). We love all the accoutrements of Japanese dining: the stand for your chop sticks, the bowl for your soy sauce, the little plates and bowls with your food. The miso soup was tasty, the salad piquant and zesty, the prawns golden and crunchy in their coat of panko breadcrumbs. The salmon and tuna brochettes were covered in a sauce that was sticky and sweet yet savoury...we absolutely loved every mouthful. We drank Japanese beer and, what the heck, we had sake as well! We had a birthday cake waiting at home otherwise we would have had a dessert too. All of this was incredibly reasonable...we are definitely going back!!!
Very good food everything is good and especially very hearty! I recommend to the nems fell..I'm just a little disappointed on desserts.
