Heard a lot about the delicious tacos. Wasn't too impressed. The meat needed more seasoning, and the corn tortillas didn't seem too fresh. Menudo was ok. It was spicy. Chips were alright. Salsa was hot but lacked flavor. Tamales were dry. Green sauce was good. View all feedback.
I loved this place, but it's not good, as before. I was here last week and I know it's hard to get good help today, but the poor.
Al Pastor was . Carnitas was also good, but Al Pastor was my favorite. I have 4 tacos and it was a lot. Guac portion a little small for the price. Service was 5 This will be our regular stop when we come to Tahoe
Very good tacos and burritos overall with decent quality meat, but not well seasoned. The Carnitas should have at least more robust aromas of cumin, garlic, chilli powder and citrus. Also, some frozen crispy pieces should have after roasting. The biggest drawback is their three moderate salsas.
Every time I try a new Taco place, I think of Maria. Other people are generally good... but not so. I love her meat and all delicious flavors. Lengua is our favorite, and the goat is our spicy favorite!! Keep the amazing cooking!
Try the Chili Relleno! They offer it as a combo or la carte. In any case, they have good prices. I have the combo.
