This was my first time in Pannie-George's Kitchen and it was wonderful!! I had fried chicken (wing thighs), Mac cheese, black-eyed peas, sweet tea, a piece of butter pecan cake. The staff was very pleasant. Sweet tea was like I like it. Theu even had lime Kool-Aid. We don't get a Kool-Aid option in CT. Whenever I'm back in the Auburn area, I have to stop from Pannie-George's Kitchen. View all feedback.

I liked it, but not really what I expected. The menu wasn’t as expansive as I thought it would be probably because it changes daily. I had to clean my own table and there were several other tables that needed to be cleaned. You take up your own tray, but there still needs to be someone cleaning the tables. The food was good, but not over the top. I would probably go again if in the area, but there’s definitely room f... View all feedback.
I had no idea that this place was here, but I am really happy that I stumbled on it, this is the best soul food I ever tasted, that was amazing on everything, it didn't need a salt or pepper. I have a flesh and three cats, purple hull, mac and cheese, and yams w/jalepeno maisbrot. the teig of the fish was perfectly crisp, the purple hull was solid and yet soft and had all tastes that they could ask in a heap, the yams were sweet and soft and they melt in their mouth. what made me really excited when I filled my tee, they had homemade Kool help in a marked tea container, if I had not believed tee, I would have gone for the Kool help. amazing work for all chefs and workers! I am back with family friends.
Delightful! $15 deal for a meat, three veggies, dessert plus drink great deal!! Fresh okra perfectly tender and simply boiled, how I love it! Fried chicken breast delicious, not too greasy! Homemade mac n cheese yummy and unique with several cheeses mixed in crispy baked cheese topping. Lima beans tender and nice ham flavor. Bourbon pie yummy sweet ending, and not too sickeningly sweet like some! So happy I chanced upon this place today on a random Roadtrip gas stop. I hope to come back some day !
The only soul food restaurant in greater Auburn-Opelika area. The food is simply excellent home cooking. Some items, like desserts, rotate while others are staples. Great choice for a solid meat and three blue plate.
Really good food for a meat and 3. Fried Chicken is an absolute must pick. They have kool-aid options too and it's sweeter than your southern granny.
Good home cooking. Meat and 2 type of place with a friendly atmosphere. We came on a Sunday afternoon and only had to wait maybe 5 minutes in line. Only complaint was the size of the fried chicken breast. It was on the small side. Everything else was great! Sweet tea was on the syrupy side.
