Cow Cod - Auburn
Cow Cod
Description
Nestled in a recently renovated space, this burger joint is making waves with its quality, large portions, and friendly service. Diners rave about the crispy fries and flavorful burgers, particularly the Double Cheeseburger, which is lauded for its fresh ingredients. However, opinions diverge; some found the cheeseburgers overly salty, with milkshakes lacking flavor. While the fried zucchini received praise, concerns linger about oil freshness. Generous portion sizes offer good value, and both sit-down and drive-thru options enhance convenience. Overall, it’s a worthwhile stop, drawing both locals and travelers seeking hearty meals amidst mixed experiences.

The fish and chips are excellent, and the portion sizes are generous for the price. The building had been in poor condition inside and out for many years when it was known as Herfy’s, but it has recently been renovated to create a more pleasant dining experience. While my wife and I miss the Christian music that used to play there, which was one of the reasons we supported the restaurant as fellow Christians, we hope they will consider bringing that back.
This building has housed a burger place for about 40 years, previously known as Herfy's. Some of my friends enjoy dining here. I tried the cheeseburger and fries along with an Oreo shake, and it was okay. I was a bit taken aback by the experience. The cost was around $20 per person, which seems a bit steep for what you get. Overall, it’s probably not a top choice.
The first time here was eating really good. burger was what I expected from a family restaurant. hang down better, then any fast food chain.
This burger spot was a pleasant surprise! Fresh and tasty burgers, good selection of food, reasonably priced, fast service and clean atmosphere. I've already eaten there twice this week!Plus: Sit down is available in restaurant, they also have a drive thru as well.
