Feedback
This is a hidden gem hidden in a business park. they are looking for the large power transmission structures and perhaps from east, instead of auburn way for easier traffic. the service is friendly and helpful, and the restaurant is clean, even a little unusual with a small retail store on one side. no stands, but several chairs and tables, seems ideal for the lunch. we ordered 4 types of pupusa, a side of casamiento rice bean pane, and two desserts torreja, which is a sweet French toast pane and quesadia, which is a cheese-based savory cake. that was a lot of food for two people and in the future I would probably order 2 3 per person. everything was hot and fresh and uniquely flavored, as we had not tasted Salvadoran food before. there was nothing that we found unpleasant by American standards. we tried loroco in one of the pupusas, it tasted something like a spade and was a fun new thing to try. I don't know what's in Hawaiian taste, but it was our least favorite in contrast to some other reviews. the red salsa was delicious and mild, and the cauliflower served on the side was quite spicy and tasteful. it took 30 minutes to prepare everything for two people, so be sure to order with the time to save. we ordered takeout and everything was packed in styrofoam or metal shells, and a paper bag, utensilien optional. we had difficulty ordering over their website, but they were happy to take a phone order, and allowed up to 3 ingredients per pupusa. this was a fun first experience with this type of eating and we will be back!
In auburn, wa. sweet little mother and pop place. I actually came by because I had a request and he was sent here. decided to order an dinner for the family. the owner, norma, sweet little dame is from South America and explains some of the favorites on the menu. It also makes the jamaika (hibiscusdrink), tamarindo, fruit punsch completely sold in the house and not from the bag mix in other food stores. that's a plus for me because less sweetening. I ordered 10 of the chicken tamales and they contained some herbal tamales to try. I ordered fried plantains. everything was very subtle. a piece of banana leaf for taste. nice. not spicy and I can taste the delicate aromas. the plant fools had fried beans. the chickens had green, huh, that's all I could decode. order her to eat before the time because it will take 30 minutes to steam. I looked at a cooking show while waiting on the television and norma occasionally came out to see what they were doing. the half of the restaurant held knick knacks to buy and the other had 5 tables to dinate for the mozens. I would like to order again and again.
