This morning, I called right away because I couldn't get through to place an order on Saturday. Like many others, I had heard about this restaurant and seen the positive reviews, and I couldn’t resist trying their sushi. We placed a big order of eight rolls, and wow, we definitely indulged ourselves into a happy food coma with them! The rolls we tried included the Boeing roll, Mary Mary, Downtown, Fire roll, the Lion... View all feedback.
What SHANNON Woods doesn't like about Chinook Sushi:
While their presentation was beautiful, tuna should never look like this. This is gassed tuna that makes it vibrant red and less prone to discoloration, making it difficult to determine how fresh it is. It is a lower quality, cheaper product and there is absolutely no need for it in a region that is saturated with sushi restaurants with fresh tuna. View all feedback.
It might because this place is kinda tucked away in Auburn but definitely a hidden gem. We 've been looking for a homey spot and this fits all the boxes. Sushi rolls have really good cuts of fish, and just the right ratio of filling to topping. It 's just a really satisfying bite. The California roll topped with salmon is called the Alaska roll, good choice if the only 'sushi ' you 're used to are supermarket California rolls. Try this one for a not crazy but delicious step into trying more raw fish ????. The one covered in sauce below was a combination of spicy crab, tempura and topped with white tuna and possibly ebi shrimp), our favorite roll of the meal ???? White Tiger roll). And last but not least the chicken fried rice ???? ????, weird to say but it 's such a comforting dish. Probably not something to eat daily but definitely a repeat when we 're here again or just getting takeout. Looking forward to trying their other rolls and kitchen entrees. The chefs here are on point for both the cold and hot sides of the kitchen.

Probably the best place for sushi ???? in Washington. Really tasty ???? Order in advance, waiting can be pretty long. Call in advance, pay in advance, but you will not regret it.
Presentation was amazing. Food was delicious with good quality fish. Staff was beyond expectations. Would recommend to anyone who?s looking for some good sushi.
Absolutely a hidden gem. Best sushi in the puget sound. Food does take a while to get served but that?s only because they are creating works of art. Love this place.
