My first time here and man they did not disappoint. I had the sliced brisket with a side of collard greens and Mac and Cheese. Very delicious, even had a round of delicious banana pudding for dessert. I highly recommend this place, the menu had a lot of great sounding items like tacos as well. Will definitely have to come back to try the tacos next go around. View all feedback.
Bow and Arrow is a nice, trendy BBQ place with a competent and attentive staff. I come from Brisketville, so I am a pretty critical judge of that particular cut of meat. Sadly, this was a bit tough and dry. I am used to being able to get fall-apart, moist, tender brisket and this was not it. The flavor was fine, though. The jalapeño cheese sausage was quite nice. The sides were exceptional. I had the brisket beans and the mac and cheese. I could almost make a meal of those. I would go again, but maybe try the pork.
Enjoyed this place very much. The brisket was tasty, our server (Catherine) was excellent and always on top of things, the place was very clean. I mixed the Texas red bbq sauce with their hill top hot sauce to make a decent spicy bbq sauce too. Only thing I could say is the portion sizes are a bit small for the prices. Other than that it's a very nice place to check out.
Amazing food, the brisket was cooked perfectly that you could have ate it with a spoon. The beans had amazing flavor. Only thing i didnt like was i ordered a two meat combo instead of the three meat combo. Absolutely must go to if your in the Auburn area. Just wish they hadnt been out hats to buy for my son.
I got the 3 meat plate. Slices Brisket, jalapeño cheddar sausage and pulled pork. The brisket was off the chain. Sausage and pork were real good. Definitely Texas style. Sauces were good...both that I tried. Hashbrown casserole was good to and helped tame the sauces to perfection. Collards were ok, not as good as Im use to but hey mamas are hard to beat. We finished dinner off with there blueberry pie and ice cream. It also was phenomenal. It was like a blueberry pie but wrapped with a crust the more or less reminded me of a beignet from Louisiana. The staff was very educated and friendly. Will definitely hit this place again.
When I first came here a year ago I would’ve given it a 3 star review but after coming back a year later it’s amazing. Solid 10/10. I don’t know how it made a come back but it’s great! Props to chef David for rescuing this restaurant. An amazing establishment. Go now!
