What Angi Pe doesn't like about Acre:
Very nice atmosphere and service was good…..Ordered scallops which were warm and very bland. My husband ordered Spinach dinner salad, which was very sparse and tasteless. We ordered desert which was supposed to have been tiramisu but was actually cheesecake with chocolate and coffee liquor. We were disappointed with the overall meal. We will not return. Food was over rated. View all feedback.
Definitely a great dining experience. The service was outstanding, the food was delicious, and prices were very reasonable!!! Thank you Acre a wonderful special night out with my family!!!? Parking: Easy on-site valet parking. Attendant very nice and professional.
In town for a campus visit and had lunch here. Everyone in our group really enjoyed their meal. We had their burger, Cuban, and chicken fried chicken. All delicious.
Had dinner on 4/26. The food and our waitress Anna Grace were outstanding as always. At some point the hostesses are going to need to learn to smile and greet customers. 3 hostess standing there and only one looked up at us to say welcome in with zero enthusiasm. The other two stood there staring into the abyss and eating a snack. We asked to add one more to our party of 3 for a total of 4 and you would’ve thought we asked for their paychecks. Also, the runners bringing out two of the plates 5 minutes before the other two and asking who got what is very chain restaurant. A little more auxiliary staff training would go a long way for this place
My new favorite dinner spot in Auburn. The ambiance is delightful and the service provided by Anna Grace was exceptional! The scallops were outstanding!
April 2024As can be seen from my original (5 star) review, we liked Acre. However, when we've gone the past few times, it's definitely been subpar to how it once was. On the last occasion, I got a burger and my spouse got a cuban. The bright spot was the appetizer, which was pimento cheese and chips. They were great. The main course was overly salty and the fries were well overdone and greasy. I've had way better burgers, too. In addition , we couldn't figure out our server – sometimes friendly, sometimes ticked. We went for lunch that was about $25 per person, without a drink and including the app. Overall, we probably won't be back anytime soon.Original review 2017Acre is one of the, if not the, best place to eat in the region. For a typical day, I would definitely recommend the lunch over the dinner, as it's very affordable and the meals are unmatched in taste and quality. We've had dinner here once or twice, and while great, we definitely prefer the lunch over that. The atmosphere inside and out are also amazing, love the pear trees and garden outside and the interior has a great feel and AMAZING smell. HIGHLY recommended.
