I have been to Acre restaurant about 10 times and absolutely love it. However, my experience on Saturday was disappointing. Despite having a reservation for 2 at 11:00 a.m., we were not seated until 11:25. We ordered two Acre burgers, one cooked medium and one medium well. In April 2024, we revisited Acre after giving it a 5-star review in the past. However, we were disappointed with our recent experiences. The appetizer of pimento cheese and chips was the highlight, but our main courses were overly salty and the fries were greasy and overcooked. The service was inconsistent, and the overall meal was underwhelming. The cost was around $25 per person for lunch, including the appetizer. Unfortunately, we do not plan to return anytime soon. In our original review from 2017, we praised Acre as one of the best dining spots in the area. We recommended their lunch menu for its affordability and unbeatable taste. While we enjoyed dinner there as well, we preferred the lunch offerings. The atmosphere, both indoors and outdoors, is charming, with pear trees and beautiful gardens. We highly recommended Acre for a memorable dining experience.

Our server was friendly and attentive. While we typically love Acre, yesterday's meal fell short of our expectations.
