Fuji - Atyrau

Nice place. We came here twice and they never failed. Sunday dinner was calm and peaceful. We had the whole restaurant for us. Food and service was excellent. She brings us what we wanted. Recommended

It's not Fuji anymore. Fuji closed, now it's Qabyrga.

After many years in Atyrau I tried this restaurant that I heard many nice comments from local about Japanese food (especially the sushi) I went with my family a few days ago and I was really excited with the excellent decoration, very clean and well prepared, the attention was good, I tried the Tong Jong soup and honest was not so good, but when I tried the sushi... Wow!!!! Really fantastic!!!! I must accept that I am not a sushi food lover, but here is preparation amazing!!! Without a doubt, it is a must point for tourists to eat good sushi, the waitress speaks English to an acceptable level to reach the minimum communication for the food you want, the location of the restaurant is relatively hidden, it is located among some residential buildings, and the surrounding view is not so good, but when you come to the restaurant, it changes the view, in the restaurant is beautiful!!! I will come back to this restaurant for good sushi!!!!

It was top-notch place when they just opened, even kept that level for a number of years. Unfortunately, that changed dramatically nowadays. The portions of sushi gets less and less every visit, even vassabi is not spicy at all, plus the size of it is less than needed to consume the main dish. Smoking part are not separated at all, except hilarious curtains. Considering the amount of alternatives, I wouldn 't try to visit this place for that price.

Nice place, nice kitchen, overall is ok. The location is good, easily accessible. But parking is a trouble. Service leaves some space for improvement, especially on weekends. Smoking zone is awkwardly divided from the nonsmoking zone, you would be stinking with cigarette smell anyway.
