Great dining experience! The menu was excellent and offered unique dishes not typically found in other restaurants we have been to. I did not stay at the hotel, but enjoyed a meal at this restaurant. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Mulberry Tree:
We did not plan on staying for a meal at this restaurant. The food was good, but we couldn't understand why we had to calculate our own bills instead of the staff doing it for us. When we asked about it, they said it was their policy. It seemed like they wanted us to wash the dishes too! We were not impressed. View all feedback.
Good food, but not family-friendly. we thought on the mulberry tree as an evening meal after a day with our twin children. when we arrived, the restaurant was completely empty, but we had no booking so we sat outside. the garden is very pleasant, but we were not allowed to use the high chairs of the restaurant outside, so we were brought some covers to strengthen the children. when the menus arrived, the children's menu had a note that children must stay and that all devices should be kept on a low volume. there is nothing wrong with it, because I always keep the loudness down when we are in public, but it has given me the feeling that families are unwilling. I would say this is the case. we ordered, ate and left within the hour and there were still empty tables that were frustrating, especially because we were denied the high chairs outside. the food was excellent, very tasty and well presented. Overall, I did not feel very welcome as a family with children, which is perhaps the point. it would have been nice to have that torn, but so we could have chosen somewhere else to eat.
