WOW!! The food is absolutely fantastic! Super high quality. Even the desert was superb. The chef and wife were just as complimentary. Perhaps the best Peruvian food I tried from Florida, New York and Jersey View all feedback.
What Eduardo Herrera doesn't like about El Gran Chalan:
We went from far away to eat at this place. After waiting half an hour they said there was no meat. After about 30 additional minutes, the food arrived and to our surprise everything was highly salty. We wanted to try to eat it but it was impossible. Then we got sick to our stomach because of so much salt in all the food. View all feedback.
Definitely not recommended, the ceviche and the choritos made with bottled lemon tasteless, the rice with seafood prepared with products that are already overcooked like the jelly, not at all fresh, if you don't want to have a bad experience, definitely don't eat at this restaurant. Everything horrible.
Food used to be great! Sadly had it again today and this is the second time i've gotten sick from it. Rice had a funny taste and the chicken in the rice had a fishy taste...

The service was rough the girl who served us had no experience… never ask what we want to drink.. we had to take the drinks from the fridge… most of the food was fresh but the dish called chaufa de Mariscos had only 1 shrimp 1 clam literally 1) the rest was little pieces of octopus and rice.. not recommended at all..
Amazing food. Everything was fresh and with the right ingredients. I can’t thank enough for the service and quality. Congratulations for the excellency in the service !!! I will keep coming back here .
