If you’re like me and judge establishments by their taxidermy, there are not enough stars to hand out for The Mercantile in Atlantic City, WY. I’ve traveled extensively searching for pinnacle when it comes to rustic charm, and The Merc cannot be outdone. Beyond the aesthetics, the server at the bar was attentive to our needs and our lunch was fast and hit the spot after a day of blue grouse hunting at my secret spot... View all feedback.
What Sabrina Lawrence doesn't like about Atlantic City Mercantile:
Unfortunately, they were closing early so we didn't get to eat there. The person we talked to was very friendly. I was looking forward to seeing if their food had improved from our last visit. Guess we'll have to wait until next go round. View all feedback.
We always enjoy the unique experience and ambience of this treasure embedded in the southern part of the wind river. No other place I know and the steaks are delicious!
Go for the atmosphere, but I would not recommend staying for food. The personnel are briefly heated to the most basic request. The food was super expensive and not good.
Old school Wyoming atmosphere. Friendly service. Very delicious cheeseburger and make beer. Prices were reasonable, especially considering that it was in the middle of nowhere (in a good way. They were only open on Fri, Sat and Sunday when I was there. I'm glad I left. I'll go back.
Great place to eat on the way through the CDR, and after that you can get some gas from Wild Bill.
Was super good. One of the best burgers I've ever had. People are super friendly.
