The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. We were very impressed with the overall experience and would absolutely recommend. The chicken parmesan was one of the best we ever ate and the strip steak was phenomenal. Garlic bread and arancini rice balls for appetizer were once again delicious And last but not least, that was the best cannoli I ever ate….delicious and would absolutely go again. Not sure wha... What Jarrod Quigley doesn't like about Angeline By Michael Symon:
The first dinner of a guy’s weekend out in AC and we decided on visiting a celebrity chef establishment. Overall, the food was just OK. Nothing exceptional about the meal. And for what you are paying for, you don’t leave satisfied. The space reminded me of an “Italian” Balthazar (from the city). Except bare and cavernous. The server and bussers were not very helpful and in all honesty, I don’t think I’d go back. Ther... View all feedback.
This was our first visit in line, although we have heard of it for a few months before our visit. Apart from the fact that we had to wait to sit on our reserved table, everything else was on the ground. the waiting staff was exceptional and the food was above the expectations we had for a casino restaurant. we, a party of four, are Italian Americans and tend to be excessively critical to any Italian food that our mothers do not prepare. the meals here were simply fantastic and plentiful. good menu with something for everyone and an extensive wine list, although they had only one rose. lasagna was some of the best, especially if they like a lot of meat in the plate. overall it was a nice culinary experience. probably not for children sniffed the prices a little out of the game, but the overall experience was very good. we give him four and a half cuddles on the coveted five quahog rating scale.
This restaurant is definitely worth a visit. We had reservations for a Saturday night for a party of four. I recommend making a reservation because this restaurant gets crowded. The food menu is simple and right to the point. Their drink menu is awesome. I was impressed with their scotch and whiskey selection. We ordered a fifteen year old Dalwhinnie) glass of scotch and it was very good. For appetizers we ordered the baked clams, spicy calamari, and the cold antipasto salad. For the main courses we ordered the filet mignon just melted in my mouth lol)eggplant parmigiana, and the special which was a halibut baked in bread crumbs with tomato’s and sauce. Everything was delicious. Everything was cooked perfectly, the food had great flavor. The atmosphere was very nice and relaxing, and very clean and well maintained. Our server was very friendly and courteous. We had a great experience and would definitely recommend this restaurant. We can’t wait to go back.
This is one of the best restaurants in Atlantic City. For appetizer we had the Baked Clams and the Eggplant Caponata. The Baked Clams were probably the best I've ever had. The inclusion of sausage really made them stand out. The Eggplant Caponata was equally delicious and reminded me of an Eggplant Caponata that I had in Sicily. I particularly liked the pine nuts. For Dinner we tried the Pork Chop, Chicken Parmigiana, and Lasagna, and we all loved our dishes. The Pork Chop was probably our favorite. The sausage and peppers, along with the fennel, was a combination that worked extremely well. The Lasagna was also very good. You could tell the pasta was fresh and the flavors were great. The Chicken Parmigiana was very good and the chicken was well seasoned, however we all felt the portion was a bit excessive as you got two massive cutlets. We felt it would have been better to get one cutlet and some pasta instead. For dessert we had Tiramisu and Pana Cotta. The Tiramisu was delicious, but what really stood out was the Pana Cotta, which was creamy and paired with a tart berry coulis that worked very well. The staff was friendly and attentive throughout our meal as well. The only criticism I would have would be with the seating, as not all tables are individual and where they had us felt a bit like a cafeteria. We would have much preferred the privacy that a separate table provides... But we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and plan on coming back!

UPDATED: The feedback below is from 4 years ago when Angeline had just opened. We finally made it back tonight for a birthday celebration. Everything was fantastic. The service, the food, the seating….everything. I can’t say enough good things. I even tried the meatballs again and they were terrific. Complex flavors, great texture, perfect size. Also tried the polenta. It was to die for!! One of the best I have ever had. The tortellini with sweet corn was very unusual and relatively light. Many great desserts but please try the pistachio ice cream. I could have eaten a gallon of that!! Fairly disappointed in this restaurant. Menu is very traditional Italian cuisine. I was expecting some interesting takes on old standards and instead was served old standards done reasonably well but at exorbitant prices. Other reviews raved about Momma's meatballs and for $27 for four medium sized balls, I would expect them to be among the best I have had. Instead I found them to be fairly pedestrian. Service was good. Decor was fine but nothing memorable. I have been waiting a long time to eat Michael Symon food since I have always considered him the best Iron Chef. This does not represent him well.
