The rest of the party were land lovers, and found the hush puppies to be the star of the show! Definitely get a dozen. The hotdog, cheeseburger and chicken tenders were ok. This is a seafood truck though, so that is definitely the way to go!

We ord... read more Don 't let the fact that Captain 's Kitchen is a food truck fool you, they had their s**t down! We were greeted with an enthusiastic and welcoming Hello! We ordered at one window and waited for our names to be called. They only take cash here and include tax in their prices which is nice. They have coolers out front with drinks to pick from and a nice selection of sauces. Do note that this is a takeout spot. You can eat in your car, but they wrap it up pretty nice to take home (or to the beach) to eat. I came here to try the famous shrimp burger. I think I had a misunderstanding of what a shrimp burger would be. I thought the shrimp would be grinded into a patty, however the shrimp burger is just fried shrimp inside a burger bun with coleslaw. I wish I had gotten more bang bang sauce. The burger itself was pretty decent. I found the shrimp to be pretty plain, I was hoping for more flavor. The burger as a whole with the bang bang sauce was a nice combo, but not something I 'd go out of my way to get again. I 'm still really happy I tried it! The fries felt a bit older, but the hush puppies and fried pickles were good.
