Cantina Louie - Atlantic Beach

Great atmosphere, food was the best I had here in Jacksonville. The staff was so wonderful and our waiter was very attentive, seriously never going from us in our group without fresh drinks and you can not beat the portions for the prices. Mr. Sal was very amazing to speak. Keep the great work and Facebook advertising – so I found you! Very recommended!!!

Great tasting food, fast and service is always really good. But today, for the first time, I got the groupers Tacos and I'm 99,9999% sure that the fish was tilapia, not groupers. I've been fishing for almost 40 years, cleaning fish and eating groupers, and this fish didn't look like any grouper I've ever seen. It was very thin and kept the signature stripes found in Tilapia meat. Grouper doesn't look like that. I asked the waitress where the grouper was, and she couldn't answer. With such a fantastic fishing in our area, it is sad that the grouper is not local and even sader, it seemed not grouped at all. The tacos tasted great and were perfectly seasoned, but as a general health rule, I don't eat tilapia. I hope I'm wrong. I will still return, but I will not order the grouper again. I understand that many restaurants do this, but it doesn't make it less disappointing.

That was our third visit to Cantina Louie. The food is fantastic and you get generous portions. And the service is great. I also love the grilled pineapple margarita. Delicious. We think your salsa is the best in town. The prices are very fair. We recommend this place to all.
