Contribute FeedbackVilla Christina has seen a decline in quality since being taken over by Hyatt, with disappointing food and service. Despite some positive aspects, such as a personable waitress and inviting decor, the overall experience was marred by issues like long wait times for food and unimpressive dishes. It's clear from reviews that the restaurant has struggled in providing consistent service to diners, leaving many feeling unwelcome. While the food and ambiance may be suitable for business meetings, the lack of attentive service and cleanliness concerns in the restrooms point towards a need for improvement at Villa Christina.
This is the or time we have eaten here for Thanksgiving and as usual, the food, variety, and presentation were all amazing. However, this year I was unbelievably disappointed in the service. Our server basically took our drink order and we never saw her again. We had to find her for refills and I mentioned that we had not seen her and she was largely apathetic. Even after that, we continued to have issues getting water refills, additional napkins, etc. I’m not sure if they were shortstaffed or not but it was so disappointing no explanations were given. We were essentially treated as though we were lucky to have received what we received. For people our bill was about Would have been worth it had we not been treated as unwelcome visitors. Not sure if we’ll be back next year. So sad to see how the quality of service has shifted so dramatically. In addition, the bathrooms were filthy. Aside from the food a bright spot were the hosthostesses. They were great
They were renovating so moved it next door in a hotel dining room. No ambiance. Felt just like a hotel lunch dining room
They were closed under construction and it still allowed us to make a reservation. Show up and you find out their closed.I responded to OpenTable and their only response was that they will let them know. If OpenTable does not see how huge of an issue it is to make a reservation on a Saturday night, get dressed up and go their to fined out it is closed, then they should not be in business either!I will not use OpenTable or go to Villa Christina ever again and yes I will tell all my friends not to use either company again
Arrived around Only a few people in the restaurant. Seated immediately near the window. Ledge next to the window broken and in disrepair. Waiter was nice and attentive. Limited menu. Got the eggplant, and it was spicy! I don’t like spicy food and would never to have thought eggplant Parmesan would be spicy! Husband got seafood pasta and also commented on the spiciness of it nothing of the menu that indicated that. Would not go again
Good food. Good ambiance for a business lunch. Noise level was minimal. However, service was a bit inattentive. And no one greetedseated us upon arrival. Found our group and seated ourselves
