What User doesn't like about The Albert:
the first time here and we loved the atmosphere as well as service. However, the fried chicken was probably the saltiest thing I've ever eaten. my taste was ruined and everything tasted salty afterwards. the salt was large and obviously on the chicken stable. please they have their kitchen know the quality of the things like this before they serve the customers! The bartenders at this restaurant are fantastic! They offer a wonderful selection of delicious food and drinks.
This restaurant is a really cool and relaxed spot with a no-fuss bar that also serves delicious food. Despite its small size, there are tables and booths available in addition to the bar area. We tried the smoked wings with lemon pepper and they were absolutely fantastic. The quality of the wings was top-notch. Although it may not have the same level of hospitality as other places, this restaurant is definitely a laid-back and enjoyable spot to visit.
We were the first ones to arrive on a Sunday morning. The service was a bit slow, but we were informed that they were short-staffed and it might take some time before we received our food. We didn't mind. We chose to sit outside, where they had set up tables and umbrellas in the rear parking lot, and enjoyed the sunshine. We were able to order drinks at the window and were served promptly. It was the perfect spot for my hangover. When the food finally arrived, it was hot and delicious. I ordered the burger with blue cheese and onion rings. The burger was tasty and the onion rings were large, perfectly cooked, and crispy. I've been coming to Albert's for years and hope that people continue to support this local favorite haunt.
This restaurant is a local favorite for good reason. It has been a beloved establishment in the neighborhood since before Dad's Garage had to relocate. Their menu includes delicious options such as boiled peanuts, smoked wings, a tasty burger, and a satisfying happy meal. You won't be disappointed dining here.
The restaurant has an interesting backstory (the owner's father was the Godson of Albert Einstein), but the drink (mule with elderberry) wasn't very good. The wings were tasty, especially with the homemade blue cheese sauce. I didn't try the boiled peanuts, but my friend said they were delicious. The atmosphere and furnishings were cool and nicely decorated. Overall, I was disappointed with the so-called signature drink. The restaurant serves better-than-average bar food, but it's not exactly groundbreaking.
