Let me just start with this place being really underestimated. The menu items are the original concept with Asian fusion. They take marinated pig bell and use it in various ways. Tonight I had a combination of Ramen and Crispy Pork Belly Burger. See the pictures below. The bar delicately skillfully made a smoked pineapple sage cocktail that tasted amazingly. I had the chicken, egg rolls, wings... all with a flair you... View all feedback.
What Naomi W doesn't like about Pijiu Belly:
Service was commendable- attentive and recommendation reliable. Food confusing as promoted as Korean fusion but notes of Chinese like 5spice on appetizers. Food salty and not much flavor. Ambiance more for the pub but not for young family which consists of our company. View all feedback.
Pretty good food! Great extremely fast service!!We stopped here with 30 minutes to spare before going on to an escape room in the area.. we ordered right away, our food came out literally less than 10 minutes.!! The Thai tots were BOMB!! so were the wings.! I thoroughly enjoyed both:! Hubby had the bulgogi kimchi tacos... he felt that there were okay. Nothing write home about.! Facilities were clean service was great.!
Drinks: 5/5 The restaurant had a great selection of beer, ciders, and more. Food: 4/5 My favorite dish was the Dukboki with added cheese for extra flavor. The fish cake had a great variety and the spice level was perfect. Other dishes like tonkotsu ramen, yakisoba noodles, and spicy garlic shrimp were also enjoyable. The fried dishes were okay, possibly due to using the same fryer, but still tasty. The pork belly was average, but everything else was delightful. Service: 5/5 The servers took great care of us and were funny and personable. Ambiance: 5/5 The interior was clean and casual. Parking can be tight sometimes, but we were happy they had some available. Thank you, Pijiu Belly.
I was eager to try this restaurant after seeing it on the Food Network, and it did not disappoint. Despite having a stuffy nose, I could still appreciate the tenderness of the crispy pork belly. The ramen cleared me up enough to taste the hearty sauce, which was delicious. I am excited to return and try the yum yum chicken. The bartender was friendly and our waiter was helpful. I can't wait to go back. Please support this place, it was really good even with a stuffy nose!
