I lost when I arrived near the area. I guess Google cards had me park before I went down to the restaurant. As far as pizza is concerned, probably some kind of pizza I never had. I was excited because my crust was crispy and I think it was cheese too. Crunchy cheese? Idk, what's better. There is really nothing better than eating a whole slice from top to bottom. The brightly looking restaurant brought a cool ambience... View all feedback.
What Christine S doesn't like about Nina Rafi:
The service was not the greatest. I was joking with my friends that it's almost like they were trained to avert eye contact. When we got to the restaurant we were told to wait for the hostess. When the hostess got their she took a lady who came after us to her seat. Mind you, we had a reservation as well. After that I asked the people who came after us if we could talk to the hostess next because they had us waiting... View all feedback.
This place has THE BEST Detroit style pizza I have ever had. Our appetizers took a long time to come out, the manager came over to personally apologize and brought us a free whole salad, along with covering the costs of the appetizers we ordered! Highly recommend this place !Food: 5/5
Nina Rafi is an amazing spot for high quality Italian eats on the Beltline! Our server, Chris gave an outstanding recommendation for our pizza and wings! Amazing atmosphere. 10/10Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options to fit your needs.Kid-friendliness: Friendly environment and safe access
I 'm still confused at how you can make a gluten-free, thick detroit-style pizza taste that good?!? even our server was like yeah idk how they make it, but it 's good. i spent the entirety of the meal just wondering how is pizza this delicious even possible? better than antico 's?? maybe. look, it 's different than getting a traditional italian pie, and sometimes, different is really what i want! and you can 't beat the location here. immediate access to everything on the beltline, which is perfect in case you do slam back a ton of carbs and need to walk it off afterwards!i probably wouldn 't recommend eating one of these by yourself though. the 10-inch detroit-style seems to be just perfect for two to enjoy!definitely keeping this in my best of the beltline list!Dietary restrictions: pretty sure you can ask for any pizza to be made gluten-free
One of the better spots that I've been on the beltline. Hostess was nice and attentive. And our server Aaron was great! Nice atmosphere, good music, pizza was fresh and dough just right; delicious dr inks; good vibes! I'm a satisfied customer!Food: 5/5
I’ll start with the positives…the Detroit style pizza is really good. I had the gluten free margarita. I haven’t had a “fluffy”, deep dish style pizza in over 10 years! My family had the regular deep dish and was just as happy with it. They also loved the cheesy bread. Salads are also fresh! Best caesar dressing ever! The negatives….service was kinda poor. We expected the pizza to take a while as that is noted on the menu. However, it took forever for everything else as well. Our waitress rarely came to our table. We had to ask other servers for water. We tried to order wings as an appetizer but were told they were out. 45 mins later, the table behind us ordered and received them. They were also out of most of the salad toppings. They weren’t very busy so I’m not sure what the issue was. Maybe it was just an off day. I’d give them another chance. The pic is of the gluten free, Detroit style, margarita pizza.
