The roasted cauliflower, potatoes, and guacamole were outstanding. There weren't any vegan entrees available, so I opted for a salad and a vegetarian spinach empanada that contained milk, but was still amazing. The server was lovely and the ambiance of the terrace was fantastic. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Mercado:
I called to inquire about the lunch hours and was informed that it ended at 4:30. Unfortunately, when I arrived at 3:13, I was turned away after waiting for 50 minutes. The hostess apologized for not informing me that seating had ended. I had been looking forward to trying the Mercado bowl. It would be helpful if this information was communicated when calling or some form of compensation provided for my time wasted.... View all feedback.
I have visited this restaurant a few times. The food I had on my most recent visit was disappointing. However, I still plan to return because the atmosphere and decor are cozy and inviting.
I made a reservation for Sunday brunch as soon as the restaurant opened, but it turned out to be unnecessary! We began with the house mimosas, and the guava flavor was excellent. We shared the Mac and cheese and elote, both of which were delicious. I ordered the empanada platter and all three varieties were fantastic. My dining companions enjoyed the divorciados. The service was fast and attentive. It was a refreshing change to have a Sunday brunch experience that wasn't overly crowded.
Rope Veija was great overall. The tapas were average, as was the service. We ordered cocktails with our meal, but they took so long to arrive that we thought they had been forgotten. They finally came after we finished eating and were waiting for the check. We ended up enjoying our drinks at the table after paying the bill, but at least we didn't feel rushed to leave.

We appreciated the hospitality and will visit again in the future. The customer service was great and our lunch was enjoyable. The Mercado bowl and outrage meat were delicious. Our server, Matt, was excellent.
