I was very impressed by the ambience and décor. I loved the attention to details that incorporated the Vietnamese and French styles. From the bigger furniture pieces down to the table lamp that looked like the nón lá (Vietnamese Farmers leaf hat). Food was FANSTASTIC. Every item we ordered was great. Each had it's unique flavor. What User doesn't like about Le Colonial Atlanta:
it was so loud, we had to scream to be heard. while we didn't order any appetizers, our drinks arrived only after we had served our meals. that was okay. the only season of the red snaps was what was poured on. there was a great effort to deliver the showmanship, the whole fish and the flaming desert. Our server Sarah was attentive and answered all our questions. We ordered 2 starters, Sesame Beef Rice Noodle Rolls and Pan Seared Chicken Dumplings. For our main course we ordered, Shaking Beef and Roasted Salmon. Since didn't want rice or noodles, instead we ordered Chargrilled Japanese Eggplant. I would definitely come again.
No terrific. Service was very slow and the food was so so.
The food and ambience were great. I enjoyed every bite of food and drink right up to the cup of hot tea after my meal. Will definitely come back!
Le Colonial is consistently in service, quality of food and experience! To feed one of my favorite places in Buckhead.
A beautiful evening and excellent meal at our favorite place in Atlanta uptown became dine. While a bit French with Buckhead parties, we were still found a relatively quiet place to enjoy a number of delicious dishes, both large and small. Definite FIVE STAR recommendation.
