This place is deep in the 4. Ward- not too far from Midtown ATL area, the Vibes fluctuated inside with meetings and energetic atmosphere. The assistant manager was also as helpful as she helped us to bus the tables. The line was not too short, but we could place the order. The Challah bread was wonderful, the maple syrup made in the house, together with French cream, for the French toast. Most far, the best French to... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Highland Bakery Cafe:
It was okay. Nothing special and due to that it was overpriced. The grits were good. Nothing else was any better than what we could have had for free at our hotel. We went out for breakfast because we wanted something nicer this morning. We asked for water and they never brought us any. View all feedback.
Great place for brunch! The service was fast, although it was completely full. Portions are large (some are Huge). The Zilantro Maispfannkuchen are really good. I was a little disappointed by the peanut butter French toast (the BTW is quite large). I found them pretty dry and the peanut butter is pretty overwhelming. Would not recommend if you are a huge peanut butter fan.
Fantastic bakery food and even better brunch menu. Off Highland in O4W. Off the road.
I couldn't choose between brunch and lunch. I have no regrets about my decisions, that was the best experience I had in Atlanta and Harley was an amazing server and so friendly. I think I'm in love with both the food and the service. Thank God. Roll Tide.
Actually, it's not worth me anymore. last time they tried to change into the table, but it's a mess. No one was really assigned to our table and I didn't feel like I had a server at all. we have omelettes that we haven't had yet. Kill an omelette! it's literally just an ice stone. they don't add anything to escape. only a brick of egg folded in. for two omelettes, an order of French toast and two coffee drinks was our bill $75. after this experience we have decided that if a place is really worth it, we cook breakfast home because that is way overpriced. I don't think we'll be here any more if it's a last minute in a squeeze dial. the experience and eating are poor for gourmet prices. No thanks!
The sauce that goes on the shrimp grits is so good!! Only beef is a mild lack of seasoning! We also had the French toast (not pictured) it was delish! We are obsessed with the cheesy toast. Would return!
