Ginya Izakaya - Atlanta

I am a regular for one reason: fresh and high quality Japanese food. Very authentic Japanese dishes that you wouldn’t normally see made well anywhere else. The fish is always fresh and I love the variety they have. You don’t just get tuna, but there’s multiple different types of tuna of different fattiness for every palate. Love the chefs and staff here, always make me feel welcome!!

We got there around 9pm after an event and we’re very excited they were open until 11pm. The vibe is great, the service is as great and the food was amazing. Absolutely amazing. We’re always trying out new sushi and ramen places and we would drive back here from our house, which is about 30 miles away. The prices are extremely fair and with 2 sushi rolls and ramen, it was $31 before tip. I highly highly recommend!!

Always love japanese izakaya. Im huge fan of shoya izakaya and decide to try ginya. Interior is similar to shoya. And food is kinda similar

What a great place for Japanese food, the service was great and the food just right. It’s got plenty of seating for a small building, but no outdoor seat is available. There is a small bar inside and seats so you can watch the food being prepared. The location does have booths, tables and a traditional table where you must take your shoes off and sit in the floor. A friend took my here during the pandemic one night. I seen it while riding to an event on Friday night and came back to have dinner again. We sat at the sushi bar. I tried this Japanese strawberry drink for the first time. It tasted like a pink starburst in a way. I got the spicy chicken miso ramen and it was so good and full of flavor. I also got the crunchy shrimp roll and the spicy salmon roll. They both were super delicious. I enjoyed every bite. The customer service was great. Quick, they were attentive. Even the gentlemen working the sushi bar made sure we doing okay.
