great authentic canton style Chinese restaurant. eating is always hot fresh and consistent. the restaurant is family run and operated. this is the kind of place where they remember them when they come. I often dive in and pull out. View all feedback.
What Trevion Herman doesn't like about Dim Sum Heaven:
We ordered 7 dishes from the Dim Sum menu and a soup. We believe that most of the Dim Sum we ordered is pre-made and available at most Asian supermarkets. The soup was alright and the service was not exceptional. We are not sure about the quality of other dishes, but we likely won't be returning to this restaurant. View all feedback.
Had some great food here today! Both the dim sum along with the standard Chinese dishes were excellent! The BBQ pork buns, soup dumplings, potstickers, roast duck, Mongolian beef, chicken fried rice, and shui mei were terrific! We had a large group of 10 and they seated us quickly and served the food efficiently. I highly recommend!
I had visited this place before and received ok service, but disregarded their treatment because the food was good. However, my brother and I visited again this evening and our concerns were confirmed. Upon entering the restaurant we were not greeted or acknowledged, eventually we sat ourselves as there is no signage to indicate otherwise. Shortly after we walked in, a family or 6-7 walked in and were promptly seated and greeted. After attending to them, the waiters finally acknowledged my table, and took our orders. (Mind you, we were the only black customers in the restaurant)The party who came after us received their food first, as well as many others, before we received our food. The waiters were not attentive to our table, and they exchanged hesitant looks with one another when approaching us. Overall the experience was very disappointing. I have never experienced such treatment at a restaurant before in my life, and I can only list this as discrimination. We were not rude, disorderly, or impatient, only excited to enjoy some good local food. Sadly, we will not be returning, I truly hope no one experiences the treatment we received from this place. We will definitely be looking for a new, more welcoming dim sum restaurant to support.

Subpar dim sum, with slow, inefficient service. We waited at least 10 minutes for a waiter to take our order. At least another 20 for the food. Unlike real dim sum restaurants, this has no dim sum menu where you can check the plates you want, nor does anyone come around with traditional dim sum offerings to choose from. This would not be a problem if at least the food was good, but no. The dim sum is subpar. They used fish skins on our “shrimp noodle” instead of real shrimp. The sticky rice was awful and some of the shrimp shu mai had no shrimp. The pork shu mai tasted anything but fresh. There were people waiting at the door, but because the wait staff is inefficient. I’ve been to China and have enjoyed excellent dim sum in many cities in the United States. Don’t come here for dim sum, and if you go for regular Chinese food, bring your patience. You’ll need it.
Large selection with lots of yummy! We tried the shrimp dumplings, shrimp with watercress dumplings, taro, bbq pork buns and a few others. Very friendly staff and great little spot. It isn't flashy but the food is great!
