Always love stopping in here when in midtown. Grabbed the house IPA (always a great deal) and some chicken tenders. This is one of my tried and true. Always up for a stop at Cypress. View all feedback.
What Dillon Corkery doesn't like about Cypress Street Pint Plate:
The chicken tenders weren’t cooked all the way. It was gooey batter and not crispy. The waiter forgot my sauces. They mixed up the order and the gyro tasted funny. We got there at the last hour so I guess the cook was in a hurry because the food was cooked so fast and they kept rushing us to order. It was awful. View all feedback.
No more help after the food came out. Struggled to even get the check
The place was amazing, with great food and a wide selection of drinks. The pulled pork sandwich was lovely.
My husband and I are repeat offenders here. Today we ordered the Huevos Rancheros and the Chilaquiles. We honestly had low expectations. However, we were pleasantly surprised! The spice level was and had my nose running by the end. The flavors of both dishes meshed so well! We already have plans to come again soon!
Good neighborhood hangout. Casual, warm vibes. Good food and drinks.
Tacos were so so. My partner enjoyed his burger. The calamari was tasty but for $15 there was not much calimari IMO. Outdoor seating was nice except for the occasional wafting of sewage from some nearby source. Beer selection was excellent and our server was cheerful and prompt.
