It's dinner and a show—a fun and entertaining experience where time flies by. The food is good, and I enjoyed most of the dishes. However, it's quite expensive. If the price were more reasonable, I would have given it five stars. View all feedback.
What ADiner doesn't like about Candle In The Woods:
The son was our host and told endless poor taste, over rehearsed jokes or stories with every course that tainted the whole experience for my group. “That will hopefully be the best meat you put in your mouth tonight.” White wines served warm. Not enough time to chat between courses with guests because host keeps talking and telling crass stories. Out of 12 courses 3 were great 3 were decent and 6 were ok or underwhel... View all feedback.
This place is absolutely amazing! We've been here twice so far, and we'll def be back soon. Expensive, but it's more of an event than just a dinner. Worth the wait and every penny. Hi cousin Dave!
The food and wine pairing was quite enjoyable. The presentation made the whole evening dinner and a show.
One of the most unique experiences we've had. An entertaining evening of fun and food. The one of a kind dishes were amazing. I would highly recommend this to everyone. The hosts were amazing and funny and the 3 hours spent there flew by. Wonderful!!
We had the greatest time here and the ultimate experience with David. Highly recommend as a bucket list item. Good friends and the best drink and food pairings we have ever had.
This was our first experience at candle in the woods, and let me tell you, it was the most amazing dinner experience we've ever had! Not only is the setting wonderful, the host and chef were very personable and humorous throughout the dinner. The food itself was so amazing, every course was wonderful we had 13 in all that evening. We opted to not do many of the wine pairings, my husband did beer instead and I had some seltzer spritzers as I'm not a wine drinker. But what we had was amazing! The service staff and cook staff were all very wonderful, it was so nice to see. They are training of the future generations in the culinary industry. It was a very cool experience to be seated family style with other strangers and really get an intimate high end gourmet meal. While it is a little on the expensive side, it is worth the money! We loved Chef Dave and his son, we will be going back! Our valentines dinner was the best we've ever had.
