Weaver D's Delicious Fine Foods

The food was excellent, but that cake—oh my goodness, it was incredibly delicious and moist! If you haven't been here yet, I highly recommend you stop by and try it out. You won’t regret it!

I don’t know why it took me so long to visit this restaurant, but I'm really glad I finally did. The food is fantastic, and the people are wonderful. These local gems are exactly what we need to cherish and support for as long as we can.

I would share more details later, but during our visit, the restaurant was short-staffed, making it challenging for Weaver D to effectively serve the lunch crowd in such a small space.

Y’all I worked in Athens for a week and had to check out Weaver D’s! I arrived late afternoon and had opportunity to sit by the cooks and y’all I got the secret on why their turnip greens taste so good!! Love the food and atmosphere!

The restaurant has potential, but it needs improvement. I would come back for the atmosphere, the experience, and the people, but not for the food, service, or cleanliness. I noticed that no one was wearing hairnets or washing their hands. While I admire the owner for taking on different roles in the restaurant, it was off-putting to see him eating with his bare hands and then handling payments and our cups without cleaning up first. Unfortunately, I wouldn't choose to return.
