We ordered din... read more I took my girlfriend to this restaurant for our second date, and it was my second time visiting Athens. The experience was absolutely incredible! We ordered dinner, and our waiter was exceptionally kind. After we finished our appetizer, he came out with a tiny pizza and said, "We ran out of dough, so I hope this is okay with you all..." I was taken aback! He explained that they had fallen a bit behind and wanted to make it up to us, assuring us that our food would be ready in just a few more minutes. We ended up laughing a lot, which made the evening truly memorable. Thank you, Transmetropolitan! The food was excellent, and the wait staff was amazing. I always recommend this place to friends looking for great food in Athens!

We hadn't been there in a while, and we were both pleasantly surprised by the changes. First of all, they now have table service—thank goodness! It was a real struggle standing in line, especially when the person in front of you would take ages to look at the menu. Second, they have introduced a new menu, and although I typically stick to pizza, the other options looked enticing. My white pizza was absolutely delicious! Our server was fantastic and very friendly. Thank you!

I wish they had better service. It always takes longer than we expect. In our last visit. We saw our pizza sitting on the counter ready to come to our table, but it sat there for a while before our waitress brought it out. If you have got time and patience, and want good pizza by the slice Transmet is a great option!
