The staff is excel... read more This Thai restaurant is my absolute favorite in town, and possibly my favorite overall. The food is delicious and comes in generous portions. The staff is excellent as well! My go-to dishes are the Thai Spicy Noodles and the house-made Thai Dumplings (pictured). The Dumplings are exceptional and the coconut soup is also amazing. If you're not a fan of spicy food, make sure to check the heat level of the dish you're ordering. Personally, level 2 spice is perfect for me but it may not be for everyone. The location is convenient, and ordering takeout is a breeze as the food is prepared quickly. Additionally, this restaurant is a safe option for those with gluten intolerance, and the staff are happy to answer any questions you may have. If you're new to Thai cuisine, this is a great place to start, as the staff are helpful in providing recommendations.

However, I have to update my review. The prices have increased, but the quality has not. I paid $18 for an entree and only received half the portion I was expecting, with very few veggies and tofu.

My favorite food is definitely the Pad See Thai, but the Massaman Curry is a *very* close second. They also have amazing Thai Iced Tea.Plus, the staff here is very polite and helpful, and they do their best to get to you as quickly as possible. All in all, ThaiSpoon is probably my favorite restaurant in Athens!

My boyfriend and I go often (almost weekly and no matter who our server is or how busy/slow they are the service is always great. Everyone is so friendly. Most recently, Sidnie was our waitress. She took great care of us and wassuper personable. Thanks Sidnie! The food is equally as amazing. We usually order the same entrees when we go, but even when webranch out and order something different, it never disappoints. You can?t go wrong here. (And order the Thai Dumplings as anapp!
