Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe Athens

Late lunch resulted in an almost empty place but order and service was quick. Food was delicious and healthy (lamb gyro and beef sandwich, both with greek pasta salad). Only issue at this location is parking.

Meat quality was good, and the veggies were fresh. I think the meat wasn't marinated very well. I've personally had better grilled meat at other places.

Today isn’t the day to eat here. We have been sitting here for over twenty minutes and still have not received our orders. This is the first time we have had to wait this long. Trying to be patient but it would help if we could be acknowledged.

Service was great. The potatoes are soaked in lemon juice. The taziki sauce tastes like cucumber vinaigrette. Ugh. The lamb was chewy. Won't be back.

Great place with fantastic eating. portions are perfectly dimensioned. taziki has a great menu with something for everyone, from vegetarian and vegan to the hard carnivores, from picky food to people like me, who are always looking for something new. a beautiful midday place that is fast, without sacrificing quality. perfect for anyone who lives in the city, or just the mother/dad who wants to try something new for the family.
