Suzanne's Bakery Eatery - Athens

Good mourning, I've driven 1000 times from this place and never realized it was a bakery/egg! I thought it might be a salon. Along the ride in my favorite sister's search for the best locally made sourdough bread, we visited Suzanne 's last month. It's small, and I think it might have had 2 small bistro style tables inside, but it had 3. There are several refrigerators on the floor with grippers and go items like a ground beef-based John Wayne-Casserole, Pimento cheese, various casoles, maybe a 3-bow salad, Kicherer salad, Broccoli salad and more. An in stock confectioner is where you order and pay. They really had cute Halloween cakes pops for sale and their sour dough bread was on a small ad on the right side as you enter. They offer hot lunch specialties daily Tuesday Friday, 11-2 and a soup of the day at 6.49, from said John Wayne casserole to chicken stable and filling. We missed the lunch window and bought nothing from the grave and left. The staff here is patient and friendly! Really nice! Sister and I got a foliage or two of the sourdough, sister tried one of her confectionery and said it was good. I also have two of their huge chocolate chip cookies for the hubs. The unanimous judgment on her sourdough bread is a good bread, especially for toasting; but it is not sourdough. The bite I had was sweet and fluffy. Hubs and sister agreed that it was delicious bread, just not sour. So, it's back to Publix for sourdough. Do not plan to eat when you go to Suzannes, I said sister, I guess most people get their lunch to go and eat it in the car, parked here or back at work. Thank you. Suzzane! Stopped by today for the first time and I will definitely be back. I got a pan of Strawberry Pretzel Salad and it is amazing! Best I’ve ever had! Thank you ??

First visit . I was in the mood for something sweet and sought a bakery. I bought a piece of strawberry cake and it was so delicious and moist. the bank was very friendly.

Fantastic food all home full of taste. I recommend everything.

Not what I expected. There's nowhere to sit, you have to order your food to go. The sandwiches were fine, it's a sandwich that I would have made it home. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The desserts were really good.
