Seabear is typically busy on weekends, but the service and food are always excellent, and we never feel hurried. We've tried almost every dish on the menu and have always been impressed. As someone new to Boston, I was excited to see scallion pancakes available, and the addition of a light, incredibly fresh rock crab salad elevates the dish. Even my husband now craves it! The lobster rolls and scallop fried rice are outstanding. The oysters are consistently fresh with a rotating selection, and the oyster shooters offer a nice spicy kick. The cocktails are creative, though they also serve a delicious Manhattan. While I’m usually reluctant to pay for parking, it’s absolutely worth it for this restaurant.

Great experience all the way around. It was my second visit to Athens, and my first time at Seabear. From the time I walked in and was greeted by the exuberant host to the time I paid my tab and left, the staff was friendly and accommodating without beingoverbearing (pun sort of intended). I?ll be going back.

Absolutely incredible location. We showed up towards the end of the evening with a group of 9 after my wedding and the staff's service and welcoming attitude was amazing. Delicious food, wonderfully kind employees, we loved every moment of it. So gratefulfor such top-tier service on such a special day. Would rate 10/5 stars if I could, my sincerest thanks to staff and ownership.

Food was great, cocktails were good, service was great.. Then the restaurant hit me with a credit card fee for paying with my amex that wasn't disclosed on their menu, at their point of sale or anywhere else that I saw. I believe this is illegal (not tocharge, but to not disclose), unethical, and against card services agreements. I could complain to amex and probably get them toreverse it but it's not worth my time. It was a pittance of money, but it wasn't the money that matters it's the ethics. There'stoo many good restaurants around to give money to people who cheat and lie to their customers. Will not return, and would notrecommend to anybody.

Amazing food and even better service. Worth every penny and more. Really interesting cocktail menu and creative food. I will definitely go back if I am in Athens again.
