Purple Chop Stix - Athens

My son and I dined here for the first time last night. We weren't aware that reservations were required, but luckily they had space and seated us. We enjoyed the Sushi Nori rolls and the red curry, with my dish featuring tofu and his with chicken. We each had a house salad as well. The food and service were excellent. We really appreciated the restaurant's decor and atmosphere. The highlight was definitely the sushi nori rolls served with purple chopsticks—what a fun touch!

Are you here for the food or the laid-back atmosphere? Perhaps both. We enjoyed brunch, and the dishes were lovingly prepared and beautifully presented, with an abundance of vegetables and fruits—just the way I like it. The decor featured art and unique, creative touches, with plenty of purple accents. We dined on the terrace by the creek, and although it was just the three of us, we had a reservation for brunch. It may sound unusual to say, but I truly felt surrounded by love while eating here. You could feel it in the presentation of the food, the ambiance of the room, and the warmth of the service. The energy in this place is incredibly vibrant and pure. It feels like a nostalgic trip back to the flower power days of the 1960s—very, very sweet.

This restaurant is undoubtedly one of the best dining options in Athens—perhaps even the best. While it is pricey, the quality of the food is exceptional, justifying the cost. The waitstaff is incredibly friendly and enjoyable to engage with. The outdoor seating area is lovely, well-shaded, and comfortable. It's more than just a terrace; there are also veranda seats and a quaint pavilion nestled in the woods, plus a few tables situated right on a charming walkway over the brook.

Your food is from this world. Also the owners Gabe and Asia are the most friendly people I have ever met in the public restaurant.

Purple Chopstix is a wonderful restaurant! I love the atmosphere and the back patio is exceptional! I could talk about the food but I'm not the best at describing as other reviewers have. So what I'd like to focus on is the variety, which is definitely as described: eclectic...and well prepared and delicious! The mushroom soup is divine. Make a reservation, bring a bottle of wine and have an excellent meal prepared by a very talented chef and waitstaff who are also delightful!
