EXCELLENT!!! We were out strolling around Athens and decided to grab a bite. Since it was around Christmas, we wanted a special meal. We chose to eat at the Porterhouse Grill and we were not disappointed. Our waiter, Brent, was awesome. He recommended several things for started and told us about the specials for the day. I decided on the She Crab soup, which is delicious, and for the main course I had the special, New York Strip with sesame teriyaki sauce, scallops, red skinned potatoes and green beans. The soup was very good and our steaks were cooked to order, very tender and just plain delicious. The service was terrific, our waiter, Brent, checked on us numerous times, was very friendly and personable. It is not a cheap restaurant, nor is it a fast food restaurant. It is a restaurant to go to if you want personal service, excellent food, an enjoyable experience and worth every cent!
