we came here because automatic pizza didn't have enough seats and they delivered them into the normal bar, which is so convenient. we had 7 people at 7:45 on a Friday night. the normal bar was already packed, but we had the pleasure that a table was opened when we were there. the non-draft beer is cheap. athen has quite cheap drinks in general, but normal bar is even cheap for breathing. good beer, like tropicalia, s... Cozy neighborhood spot with good drinks and service. Lively patio behind the bar fills up most nights. Great ambience and chill vibes. Not a place for college kids, although anybody is welcome.
My favorite spot in the southeast! They have a bartender—a blonde guy wearing a pizza hat—who might just be one of the most handsome men in the world. It's such a friendly place!
This bar often has a bonfire in the back that makes a great atmosphere. Prices are reasonable and bartenders are friendly. It gets the 5-stars for free dart playing on decent boards and the best boiled peanuts. They also have always alcohol free cocktails on the menu for the driver.
I really enjoy this bar. I visit at least once a week because it provides a perfect escape from the college crowd in Athens, Georgia. While we are a college town, this place serves as a refuge from the party scene, allowing mature adults to engage in meaningful conversations. This delightful little restaurant offers a fantastic variety of options. The service was satisfactory, but nothing particularly memorable. The ambiance is lovely and truly unique.
One of the best spots in town! The cocktails are exceptional, the atmosphere is delightful, and the service is outstanding!
