They provided excellent coaching to he... read more I had a fantastic time at Lumberjax in Breathing. The atmosphere was great, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. They provided excellent coaching to help us get started since it was our first time throwing axes. They offer both axe throwing and throwing stars. The bar had a nice selection of beer and wine, and the prices were reasonable. I will definitely return because we had an amazing experience!

One staff member, which I’m kicking myself for not getting her name, taught my little sister how to throw. She was very patient and motivating. Overall, I had a blast and whenever I’m in Athens I will be back.

They have a friendly and helpful staff, a bar featuring local brews, and it serves as a great meeting spot with games like cornhole and Jenga for those who want to wait for their turn or relax after their session. I recommend visiting this place during the school week or even on weekends to unwind. They also offer some fun items to throw besides axes if you're feeling adventurous. I’ve been to places that are overly strict about drinking while throwing or have a dress code, but I love Lumberjaxe because they're laid-back and welcoming.

I would prefer more than beer on the drink menu. But overall it was a good time and I’ll go back again

We had a couples outing and had a wonderful time. Staff is super nice and informative about the game. Bar has a good selection of wine, beer and cider. If you are looking to try something different give this a try. It'll bring out you competitiveness and it's definitely not as easy as it looks.
