Lickin' Chicken - Athens

I visited for the first time, and it definitely lives up to the franchise reputation. The fries were excellent, and the atmosphere was lively and cheerful! I highly recommend everyone to give it a try. It's a great addition to the Savannah dining scene!

The chicken wings are quite tasty, but the fries? The horses love them every single time. So good!

I'll start with this restaurant. I appreciate that the food is prepared while you wait, rather than making you wait after you've placed your order. However, I wasn’t impressed by the chicken wings; they seemed a bit tough and unappetizing. On the other hand, the hot garlic sauce was excellent. I’ll definitely have to try something different next time.

Average at best wings, gauged prices. I mean I know there's a wing shortage but $11 for a FIVE pc. combo? That's crazy. Anyway. The food is cooked fresh. The wing flavor is decent. The fries were crinkle cut but cooked perfectly. The lemonade was supposed to be homemade but was definitely powdered, most likely country time, and not even mixed great at that. Overall 3/5. Really 2.5 but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and say the prices were because of the shortage.

FIRE. canes looks stupid compared to lickin chicken. I would die and kill for this restaurant. My life is better because of it.
