What Morgan Weimann doesn't like about Cotton Patch Cafe:
Fried pickles are very crisp very good! Brisket queso was ok, I guess. We removed the brisket so we could cut the fat off and it turns out almost all of it was fat, the other parts of the appetizer was ok. Margaritas are good. We also ordered chicken tenders with honey BBQ sweet chili sauce. The sweet chili sauce was good but I was surprised how much I didn't like the honey BBQ. Our service was good, overall, not bad... My wife and I both ordered the Sirloin Steak meal. The steaks were perfectly grilled and very good. We also had the broccoli rice side and mashed potatoes. That was very good. Our fried mushrooms as an appetizer tasted brilliant. Service was very friendly and fast. Trey was our waiter, this young man made us feel special and went beyond and beyond our entire stay. The Cotton Patch was clean and well managed. We're coming back!
Had the best waitress Monday at the restaurant in Athens, TX!!! The food was also fantastic!! The prices were reasonable or comparable to most, but the overall experience was the absolute BEST part of our Girl Trip weekend! Thank you. Angela N, because you're here for us this day and are wonderful woman you're obviously.
OMG! All right! We had the rib eye, shrimp, salmon, chicken salad sandwich and grilled shrimp Alfredo Pasta, and everyone loved their food! The fried pickles and brisket queso appetizers were great! We will definitely come back!
Had the 9.99 chicken fried steak Monday special garlic potatoes and fried Okra. It was very good. The rolls were fresh, soft and so delicious. They were made from green fried tomatoes and fried pimples, darn, but we had a lot to eat.
Gosh I wish I knew my servers name she was incredible!! Wore a cool bandanna. Lol. Fried mushrooms were out of this world delicious!
