Our kids had a blast and staff was very helpful! Gave us the best package to fit our needs to make sure we saved money! Quotes from our kids “best day ever” thank yall!
The Athens location is located in a nice shopping center in a nice part of town. I was impressed with how tidy and clean the inside was. So your feelings don’t get hurt when you get there go ahead and take at least a $100 bill out and kiss it goodbye. We spent approx $100 on 1 pizza, 4 drinks, and 1.5 hours of game time for 2 kids. The pizza is actually very good. Overall, this is a great spot to let the kids get some energy out while the parents can chill at the booth. Will definitely go back.
Loses a star for no animatronics, another for it taking 45 minutes to make a pizza for the second customer of the day, and drink machines (ALL of em) didn 't work properly and the employees only response was I need to fix that . In recap no animatronics, slow kitchen, and lastly very poor customer service. Not to mention very expensive to boot. P.S. there are no tunnels or slideslike in the pics here. All video games.
We had an amazing time at Chuck E. Cheese. Honestly, we didn’t know what to expect, but we absolutely loved it. A few tips: don’t feel obligated to get every child their own game card. We brought a 2-year-old and a 4-year-old and found it easy to share one card between them. You just need to wait about 20 seconds between scanning for games. It helps if there’s a parent for each younger child to coordinate the card swapping—grab the card, scan, pass it off, then grab it again and repeat. If your kids are around 8 or older, then having their own cards might be necessary. One hour of playtime was plenty for us. You can choose between 60 points or 60 minutes of unlimited play, but keep in mind that 60 points is not unlimited—it’s more like a traditional system where each game costs points. I’d recommend the 60-minute unlimited option unless you play very slowly. We probably played around 100 games! Be sure to download the Chuck E. Cheese app to find deals; we got our 1-hour unlimited play for $17.99 instead of $26. The venue was clean, the staff was friendly, and the manager was very helpful. They also have a kid safety check system, which adds some peace of mind. Chuck E. himself even came out to greet us, even though there were hardly any other guests at the time. We didn’t mind either way, but it was a nice touch. Despite the unlimited gameplay option, there was a great variety of games available: coin drop, football toss, skeeball, four-player games, kiddie rides, and more. They also have plenty of photo booths included with the unlimited card, which was a fun bonus. We didn’t try the food, as we ate beforehand, but the menu seemed a bit pricey from what we saw. Still, I can’t judge without sampling it first. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised by Chuck E. Cheese. They definitely earned our business. Keep in mind, though, it was pretty quiet when we went, so it might be a different atmosphere—possibly more hectic—on a busy Friday night when trying to make the most of your unlimited play.
