A great place but know what you're getting into. Service is much slower than most places, so relax and have a drink, and talk to your friends. When the food gets there it's worth it.Drinks cocktails are on point at this place.Weekends get live music and dj dance nights. Always a good time and good people. View all feedback.

Don't come here if you are hungry--you will be waiting forever. Ordered a salad and biscuits gravy and hadn't received them in over an hour. Also, terrible service--no one came to check on us. Came here for hippie food, was given hippie service. View all feedback.

As always, the food was great at Casa Nueva. A special shout out to this business for hanging a trans flag in their window next to the offensive, TERF propaganda in the windows of their neighbors. This message of inclusion and support is powerful and feels like authentic Athens juxtaposed with the cisgenderism and intolerance displayed next door.
This has been an Athens staple for a long time. They have on the menus they are a no tipping establishment, which is a plus. The food was fresh and very hot when it came to the table, server was attentive. I forgot to take a picture of my burrito, but it was a very healthy size portion, and had great flavor.
Interesting evening, boy are the gypsies back in town or what. Had one sitting next to us on the end seat at the bar. Totally had my girlfriend going. The next thing I knew, she had all this back story, and we were invited across the street for a drink. Well, my bartender had done his due diligence in pouring me some perfect drinks along with some delicious food. I was satiated. No more my sweet love and was whisked away to her love nest. Thank you CasaNueva for making my night a safe perfect delicious adventure.
