El Bodegon Paraguay - Asuncion

The menu offers a wide selection of traditional Paraguayan dishes, with generous portion sizes (the milanesas are particularly large). The restaurant has a lively soccer football atmosphere and is conveniently situated in the heart of downtown Asunción.

I’ve been there twice and I can really recommend beef and meat dishes. The shrimps were not that great, but they’re not typical at this area. The meat is very good and it’s very cheap there for Europeans and guys from other rich countries.

Another great Paraguay restaurant located on the plaza in Old Town.

Gourmet twist to one of Paraguayans favourite food combo. Portions are generous, the price can be considered a little high but the whole experience its worth what you're paying. Service is fast and the waiters were attentive and polite. Overall fun experience.
